Hello,
I have tested XP on a second partition on an older system and when it worked
fine, I update-installed it on the system partition C. Now I get two XPs in
the boot menue and I want to deinstall the testversion again. But how?

Rudi

Delete the Windows folder on the second partition.
Go to Start -> Run and type msconfig in the Open box.
Click on the Boot.ini tab.
Click on the "Check all boot paths" button.
A box will pop up asking if you'd like to remove a line from the
Boot.ini file.
The line should look something like this:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows
XP" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn

Click on Yes.
The next time you start your PC you shouldn't see the boot menu.

Note: You are aware of the fact that any programs installed on
the second partition will have to be reinstalled?
