Uninstall Works?

Help. I recently loaded Office onto my home computer. I do not use Works
and am thinking that I should just install it. It came preloaded with my
computer three or four years ago. It's Windows XP home edition.
Is there anyreason why I would not want to uninstall Works?

If you have Office loaded then you don't need works. I would get it off
there..... Its just taking up space....

Before uninstalling Works..............

If you have any Works Spreadsheet files and wish to open them in MS Excel, save
them as Excel files.

Excel won't open them as is.

It's also handy when you must open an emailed or otherwise Works document.
