Uninstall WM 5.0 to go back to 4.7???

Since access to Hotmail completely disappeared from WM when I "upgraded" to 5.0,
I want WM 4.7 back. Does the same uninstall procedure that works with 4.7 also
work for 5.0?

I'm wondering why WM 5.0 is considered an upgrade. I haven't found a single
desirable feature that makes it better than 4.7. It only takes away features I
relied on WM for :-(

Greetings Larc,

You can just use System Restore to get it back (click Start, then Help & Support, then "Undo
changes to my computer using System Restore"). To answer your question, that uninstall
procedure does not work Windows Messenger 5, and it is considered an upgrade (although the
features you probably want have moved to MSN Messenger 6).
