Did you install the XP Upgrade to a separate partition or the same
partition as Win2K? If separate you can delete
everything from the Win2K partition except these files: Boot.ini,
Ntldr and NTDetect.com. then rt click MyComputer
select Properties>Advanced>Startup and Recovery-Setting>Edit. Highlite
and delete the line that refers to Windows 2000. You can also change the
value of Timeout from 30 to 2. Save the changes.
If on the same partition, you can delete the Winnt folder and perform
the same operation editing the Boot.ini file.

In order to see these files you may have to from Windows Explorer>go to
Tools>Folder Options>View>Click on Show hidden files and
folders and Uncheck Hide protected Operating system files.
