Hi

You can reset TCP/IP with the following command from Start>Run

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

You can give the .TXT file any name you wish.

You can turn it OFF, but you would not be able to connect to
the Internet, TCP/IP means Transport Control
Protocol/Internet Protocol...
