Why do you need to uninstall SP2 - are you having problems? Did you upgrade
to SP2, or was it already installed on the PC when you bought it? If the
latter, then you won't be able to perform an uninstall. If the former, have
a look in Add/Remove Programs for an uninstall option. If you use that
option, then XP will revert to the previous version - which could SP1/SP1a.

As for your second:
"and what do i do after that ?"
Prepare to be boarded.
Without those updates your computer is many giant steps closer to many of
the things no one wants on the computer.
If you post the reason why, you may get better help.
But all you ask is how to uninstall, what next depends on your goal which
you did not state.
it's a used pc that was reformatted. in the add remove there is about 35
updates listed. computer continues to crash even before i can get on a
homepage. i get the header at the top, but nothing below it. sp2 was
installed, but interrupted, so i had to do it again. im not a whiz at this,
and i would appreciate your patience. thanks
If the computer was just formatted, you may be better off starting over with
a Clean Installation: http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/cleanxp.htm
The Clean Install may take less time than fixing the computer.
