I haven't been able to find a solid answer on this anywhere:

Is is possible to remove SP2 (or downgrade to SP1) from a machine that came
with it already loaded on it? The procedures for removing SP2 after doing an
updating do not work. I have no other options; the software I need to run
flat out will not work with it. (The developers say they are 'working' on it.)

Thanks!

Q. "Is is possible to remove SP2 (or downgrade to SP1) from a machine that came
with it already loaded on it?"

A. No, because SP2 is integrated and replaced over 5 million lines of system code.
