Uninstall Office 2000

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to uninstall Office 2000 before
installing Office 2003?
I have uninstalled Office 2000 through control panel, some related files for
Office 2000 is still existed, do I need to completely remove all those files
or reinstall Window XP before installing Office 2003?
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You should not encounter any difficulties installing Office 2003 after
removing Office 2000 via the control panel.
