I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall all my applications. I
inadvertantly let the Outlook client install. It cannot find the exchange
since exchange is not fully set up. (One man shop with a server and two
pcs---no real need for exchange yet). My emails are in an Outlook.pst file.
I can either attempt to install Exchange correctly; or resume using the ISP.
If I go the ISP route, how do I uninstall the client so that it does not look
for Exchange and allows me to connect to the email accounts on my ISPs?

Nope, just visit the mail applet in the control panel to remove "Exchange"
from the account list. Just add a POP3/IMAP and Personal Folders file and
you can keep rockin like your used to. :)
