uninstall avg8 free virsion

i want to uninstall avg8 free version anti virus from my pc.
it deleted many .exe files from my pc. and many programs stoped working
after i installed this anti virus.
but now when i try to uninstall this av a message came:
" windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not
have the appropriate permission to access the items."
the same message occures when i try to run other applications and software...
please give me solution..

Asking in a .NET programming discussion group is unlikely to get you useful
answers. You should try posting in an appropriate Windows or antivirus
forum.

As a shot in the dark, have you tried going back to a restore point prior to
installing AVG? That should restore missing files.
