Ungroup on task bar.

I have two applications, one a word processor and the other a Bible program,
which when they are both opened are group on the task bar on the bottom of
the windows screen, much as several open Internet Explore windows would be
grouped. This grouping of these two applications is unhandy as I switch back
and forth between these two applications and this grouping creates the extra
step of needing to open the group and then clicking the application I wish to
use. How do I get these two applications not to group?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ted,

Right click the taskbar in a blank spot > click properties > uncheck group
similar taskbar buttons.

This will keep windows from grouping buttons. If you have several windows
open at a time grouping is very handy. It lets you click on one where you
can clearly read what each button is. Without grouping the buttons get very
small and you cannot read which button is for which window. But to each his
own. The solution I provided you with will ungroup ALL buttons not just the
2 you are wanting but I am unaware of ungrouping just one programs buttons.
Good Luck,
