unexpected restarts

i get this message several times thruout the day or nite: "Microsoft Windows:
Computer restarted after an unexpected shutdown, M.Win detected an possible
device; unable to complete drawing operation, poss. cause, display driver for
NVIDIA GEFORCE 2 MX/MX400". JR told me to update and install new driver, but
not sure how to do. also, my systems is really, really slow (2001 dell w.
xp professional millineum). have nortan protection (just min. coverage).
Please remember im not very experienced with computers, be nice.... ha
ha.......

Hi,

First, go to the control panel/add & remove and uninstall the current Nvidia
software, you may have to reboot to complete this step. Then go here:
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp then select graphics
drivers/geforce and tnt/Windows XP, click "go". Click on the primary
download site, then agree to the license. Save the file to your desktop. You
may need to allow Internet Explorer to download (the bar will pop up at the
top of the window). Once saved, double click the file to extract the
components and run setup. You will be prompted to reboot when completed.
