Unexpected MS move...

ASP.NET is not dead. MS just realizes there is an incredible market in LAMP
(Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP). They have already started inroads, so this
is old news, IMO. Expression Web 2.0 supports PHP. Not as well as some would
like, but it is a first go at it.

I believe one of the goals of MS is to shift server dominance toward
windows.
As if right now Microsoft has about 35% of Servers share while Apache has
55%. (see http://news.netcraft.com/)
It's kind of strange considering that Microsoft dominates the personal
computer market.

By allowing PHP/MySql developers to easily use their applications to Windows
server Microsoft hopes to increase their market share in the Server world.

George.
