How do i change from windows mail to Microsoft office outlook

How do i change from windows mail to Microsoft office outlook and have all
my mail sent to (outlook?)

First install Outlook 2003 or newer.

In Windows Mail...
File - Export - Messages
select the Microsoft Exchange format
select the folders to export

File - Export - Windows Contacts - CSV

The messages should be in
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

In Outlook you can open this .pst
Then import the contacts from the .CSV file if needed (I'm not sure if the
contacts get copied to the .pst file)

Add your email account info to Outlook.
Remove the account info from WM.
