Unexpected Form Properties Dialog Box

In FrontPage 2003, I get a different dialog box from what I expect to see as
explained in the help files and from numerous illustrations in 3rd party
books. I have saved the page as an .asp file and otherwise followed the
instructions very carefully. FP server extensions are on, installed and
operating on my host server (other tested components work). The form is
working in that it sends a text file and both confirmation/error pages.
Additionally, I am seeking more info about registration and discussion form
handlers ... I would appreciate a book reference.

The dialogue box changes depending on the options you're using.

Which component are you using with the form

- the form handler (sends email/writes to the text file and requires the
page with the form to be a normal html page, not ASP) or
- the 'send to database' option that requires asp pages?

Thanks,

To be more specific, I am trying to save form results to a database which
FrontPage will automatically create. More info ... I am referring to the top
section of the initial dialog box which is susposed to have 3 tabs (Database
Results, Saved Fields and Additional Fields). There should be a drop down
list box to ID the Database Connection to use (initial/default state should
black because we are creating a new database), a Create Database command
button and an Add Connection command button.

I do not get this dialog box which should then lead to other options and
changes to the initial dialog box. I believe this is was you reference to
other dialog boxes.

So far, no joy! Thanks for the help. Perhaps this added info might spur
another thought!
