Unencrypted Password

Guest

Hi,
I have recently changed to Windows XP Home from Windows 2000 and need to set
the following policy on my XP Home in order to connect to my files in the
office.
Local Security Settings
Local Policies
Security Options
Send unencrypted password to connect to third-party SMB servers
It seems that XP Home does not have Local Security Policies. How can I set
this up?

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: IPSEC , and hit enter.
3. Click on "Using IP Security Policy Management".
