undoing 'making a folder private'

I am setting up my small business network. I made a couple of folders
private. I can not seem to undo this and have not finalized what files I
want on what computers.
If I open the "properties" of any of these folders and click on the
"sharing" tab, the "make this folder private" is checked but grayed out so
that I can not uncheck it.
Any help is appreciated from this networking newbie.

Hi Mike,

I want to UNCHECK the make folders private option. It is currently checked
but grayed out. I read through the reference and couldn't find what I needed
there. Of course, I may be looking right at it and not seeing it. If so,
please be gentle!
