undoing a setting

I accidentally checked the box for acrobat reader to open
my pdf files. Well, all that happens is a blank screen
shows up. How do I undo that checked box? How do I get
to that screen or window? Thanks for any help.

Open Acrobat Reader from its Start Menu shortcut and change the option from
within the program.
