Undeliverable messages being resent in Outlook '07

I set up an 'away' message while out of town recently, and there are two of
these "away" messages being resent repeatedly even though they will never go
through. I've already deleted the rule I set up and now I want to stop those
messages from being resent over and over again.

I got messages on both saying (paraphrasing here) "that it's been over 38
hours and we'll send you a message when it's determined that this is
undeliverable".

Any suggestions as to how to stop this from happening in the future? Any
help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers...

That message is coming from the mail server of your ISP which is trying to
delivery the message. When the message is being hold in the queue of the
mail server for a longer period of time, you'll get this informational
messages. This has nothing to do with Outlook itself as the message has
already been submitted to the mail server of your ISP and is waiting to be
delivered or being killed of when the mail server cleans its queue. Usually
messages are dropped after 48 hours. You'll get another notification
(non-delivery report) about that too.

There is nothing being send over and over again; it's still a single
message.

Roady,

Thanks a bunch. That makes sense now that I think about it. Always nice to
have a fresh perspective.

Cheers!
