One of our users keeps getting Undeliverable: emails in
her inbox even though she didn't send anything! We are
running Exchange 2000 and her OS is windows 2000. The
original message was sent to an old user that has been
removed from exchange and active directory almost a year
ago. The user is not in any contact lists, Global or
local! When I look on the Exchange system monitor I can
see that the sender of the file is
(e-mail address removed), but all of her other sent mail
just has her name because exchange recognizes her address
and displays her name. The original message is obviously
spam or a virus but why is she getting these messages say
that she sent an email to an email account that shouldn't
exist and that she didn't try to send anything to?
