undeleted user profile and home dir

I have win2000 AD , exchange 2000, and win 2000 front end clients. After
deleting the user roaming profile , I discovered that neither the home or the
user profile are deleted.

Are you saying that after deleting the roaming profile, it reappeared in the
network share, or that a profile on a local machine was still present.

If this was on the network share, did the user logon to the domain again, or
do we have any DFS setup?

Deleting a roaming profile will have no effect on profiles stored locally on
machines.

Hello James,

The user's profile and home dirs which reside on the server stay intact
after deleting the user account from AD. No DFS setup by the way and the user
is logged off from the network. Thanks for your help
