wanted to copy some files to my jump drive .. by mistake I cut and pasted a
folder when meant to copy and paste ...

how can these files be "undeleted/unerased" without my going back to that pc
and copying from my jump drive??

i'm not scheduled to return to that location for a couple more days and
someone else might want to use that folder??

Hi

You could try Edit>Undo Move in Windows Explorer, but that may depend on how
long ago the cut/paste was performed.

thanks very much yours....

will wait until tomorrow and phone in to see if this works ... the regular
users of this pc are pretty dangerous with anything beyond Solitaire though!!

this cut and paste action was done late friday ,, was the last or next to
last thing done before the pc was shut down for the holiday weekend.....

Hi

I'm not sure how long the Edit>Undo Move options 'lasts'. It survives a few
openings/closings of Windows Explorer. However, I don't know what may
happen if the PC is either logged off, rebooted or cold started. Best of
luck.

thanks again...

I'm sure if it was an "olie north" situation and someone wanted this folder
back ......?!

have a nice 4th
