Undeletable message in Drafts--"Unknown Error"

I have a message stuck in my Drafts folder that won't open, delete, copy,
move, or anything. I've tried reloading, compressing, etc. to no avail.
I've downloaded and run that WM utility thing that some fellow keeps
recommending on here, and it didn't help at all. I might as well have gone
outside and screamed "Delete." I've even explored to the hidden folders
where Windows Mail stores messages, and the Drafts folder has no messages in
it, but WM sure thinks it has this one!

Can anybody help? Why don't the pros at Microsoft fix these things instead
of just refer amateurs to get help from other amateurs on this forum? Huh?

Read the top portion at this link and do the section for the folder with the
problem.

The "pros" at Microsoft aren't interested in fixing these issues quickly, as
you may observe for the last 10 months in this newsgroup, so you are stuck
with us "amateurs".

My Windows Mail Utility is not designed to fix stuck messages in any folder
except the Outbox, as it says on the website, if you bother to read it. The
"Clear Outbox" button won't clear the Drafts folder, otherwise it wouldn't
be called "Clear Outbox".

If it bothers you so much to have that false message, then you can wipe out
the message store completely (move the contents to another directory to do
so) and then you can set up WinMail fresh.
