Undeletable Icons on the desktop, any help?

When I woke up this morning and got on my computer, I noticed six or seven
icons on my desktop that I didn't put there, that I assumed were just
spyware. So I highlighted them all to drag and drop them into the recycle
bin, and they won't move. I highlight them and press "delete", and they
don't go away. I went to "My computer" and pressed the "up one folder"
button to delete them from there.

They weren't there, either. I can't get rid of these icons. I've run
Adaware and GIANT anti spyware, and neither got rid of them. In case this is
of any importance, the icons are travel, poker, card games, printer
cartridges, casino online, bingo, and website hosting. Double clicking on
any brings up a popup infested website which I assume is the product of a
Spyware company.

If anyone can be of any help, please email me at (e-mail address removed).

Thanks.

I ran spybot, and it did get rid of something from that website, but the
icons are still there, and are still undeletable.

Any other suggestions?
