Unchecking "don't download pictures automatically" does not work

Pictures are being displayed as empty boxes in emails received in my Outlook
2007, despite the fact that in the Trust Center I have UNchecked the "don't
download pictures automatically" box.

What am I doing wrong?

"It is a reg entry called BlockHTTPImages found at this
location: \HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\BlockHTTPImages
change the value 1 to 0 (zero) and it works"
