Unchecked the box "Always ask...

Can anyone tell me how to get the "Open or Save" box
back?
I download files from the internet all the time but I
have [stupidly] turned off the option that enabled me to
direct the downloaded file to the folder of my choice.
After I unchecked the box that says: "Always ask before
opening this type of file", my downloads are
automatically going to a temporary file location.
I've been through the help screens and found reference to
the above but it doesn't tell me how to get it back once
it's been turned off.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

In Windows Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options, File Types. Locate the file type in question and highlight it. Click the Advanced button and the check the Confirm Open after download box.

Thanks very much!! Your instructions worked perfectly
even though it took me a while to notice that you said to
go to "Windows" Explorer rather than "Internet" Explorer.
