Ben

I have noticed a problem on a few different XP (SP1)
machines with different wireless cards. When
accessing "Wireless Network Properties" ("View Available
Wireless Networks"), the interface that pops up is all
greyed out (can't even click "Advanced").

Anyone else seen this? Anyone got a non-invasive fix?

This looks like a possible solution..

I think you have network bridge enabled
Try this
START | CONTROL PANE
Click on the "Network and Internet Connections" lin
Click on the "Network Connections" Lin
Right-Click your Local Area Connectio
Select Disconnect from Ethernet Bridg

I've noticed it also. If there are available networks to view, the Advanced button shows up, but if none are displayed then the Advanced button is greyed. Ironically, when you have no "available wireless networks" displayed and you're looking for yours it says "If you're having difficulty connecting click the Advance button" !
