Unavailable messages

I was searching through the newsgroup just now for
something and found that although several messages
appeared in the search window that might have been
interesting they came up as Message unavailable when I
tried to read them. They all appeared to be dated prior
to 1 April this year. Is this intentional? If the've been
removed why do they still appear in the search?

After a certain amount of time messages are deleted from the newsserver. If
you still need them I suggest trying google. Some time ago you probably
received the headers for these files. So if you search on the headers, the
results will be shown. However when you try to download the message it will
no longer be available.

We have noticed this problem and informed the web dev team. For now, please
use www.google.com to search in newsgroup. The result is showed under the
Groups tab in google. If you have any more concerns on it, please feel free
