Unattended upgrade from W2K

Gary

Hello folks,

Is anybody know how unattend.txt should be configured for
UPGRADE form W2K?
System manager doesn't seem to suite upgrade secenarios.
I'm running pure W2K environment, all workstations are in
domain. I do not need workstions to be added to domain
during upgrade they are alredy in, the same is true
regarding computer accounts. System manger doesn't allow
to bypass the above settings when configuring new unattend
file.

I will be very grateful for any help,
Thanks,
Gary.

[Unattended]
NTUpgrade=Yes
UnattendMode=FullUnattended

But, I would not recommend upgrading your computers...

I would suggest the following:

1. Use USMT (scanstate) to backup data and user configurations.
2. Wipe and deploy a new Windows XP (unattend or image)
3. Restore data and user configuration using USMT (loadstate)
