unattended install with OEM CD

I'd like to rebuild my new Dell Dimension system with the WinXP
re-install CD that came with it. I prefer to perform an unattended
install as this is the easiest way to get the user profiles folder on
a separate partition (for backup/recovery purposes). I don't need
help with the unattended installation, because I've done several with
Win2k and the procedure is nearly identical.

The problem (?) I have comes after the install. After using the
re-install CD for a fully-interactive install, i.e., not using
unattended.txt, I'm not asked to activate WinXP within 30 days.
However, when I do the unattended install and specify the Product Key
that came on the holographic sticker on the case, I'm asked to acivate
from the frist time the system starts.

Is there any way I can avoid this activation step with an unattended
installation of WinXP using the OEM re-install CD?

Thanks,
-jm
