Unattended copying

I would like to COPY the contents of a hard drive to an external drive. In
the process of doing so, there will be certain system files (especially in
the "Documents and Settings" folder) that XP will not permit me to copy.
When it encounters these files, there is generally some message that appears
that either requires human intervention so it may continue without copying
that particular file, OR, more often, the complete copy process aborts. WHAT
I HOPE TO FIND: Is there a Windows XP method to copy files so that I can set
it up and walk away? So it will just SKIP files that cannot be copied and
move past that point, and not require me to hit any [OK] buttons?

Thanks in advance!

Bill
