unable to write to registry

I can download a progranm but it fails to install giving error message - for
example:-

Error RoboFrom cannot write registry settings and will be cancelled.Accesss
denied.

It appears I have lost my Administrative rights.

I have researched the M/Soft Help & support but its answers are all too much
for me to understand.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am locked out from Outlook Express
(No Emails) The Web (cannot install patches or fixes for the problem I have
lost my Default Profile for RoboForm ETC ETC,

Open Control Panel | User Accounts and see what it says for your account
(Limited User or Administrative?).
If Limited user, you will need to login as an Administrator account (or the
builtin Admin account), open Control Panel | User Accounts and change the
type on your user account.
