unable to view pictures

Since I downloaded an Explorer Package of "critical
updates' graphics on many web pages have benn replaced
with red X placeholders. Tried trobleshooting with article
#283807 from Microsoft support but no luck. I am running
Eplorer 6 in tandem with SBC DSL software. Any sugestions?

Try going to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab

Look for the Multimedia section and make sure "Show
Pictures" is checked.
