unable to view email replies

When certain people reply to my email messages I can't view their replies.
Their message appears in the pop up indicator but when I click on the message
in my inbox it's not there. Just my original message is. There is no
attachment or empty space. How can I view their message?

The most frequent cause of this is an antivirus scanner integrated into the
mail client so that it scans incoming or outgoing mail, thereby disrupting
the communications between the mail client and server. If you have your AV
program configured to scan mail, uninistall the program and reinstall it
without the mail scanning feature. You will be as well protected and it
will eliminate one possible source of the problem.
