Unable to use MS Money 2005 on Vista

I recently purchased a new computer with vista and although it has money
essentials I wanted to load Money 2005 that I have already been using.
It appears in the list of programs installed on my new computer but whenever
I try and open the program it automatically reverts to Money essentials
(already on the PC) an will not recognise my id or password which I happily
used before on my old PC.

Any ideas?

You wanted to load Money 2005 - did you install it or not?
If you installed it. can you find a Money 2005 folder under 'Programs' in
Windows Explorer?
If you can, locate the application folder for Money 2005 (should be
indicated as a .exe file)
R/click on the folder a select .> Create Shortcut. it will give you the
option to create a short on the Desktop.
Close Explorer - there should be a shortcut to Money 2005 on desktop, open
as normal.
