Sounds like an Internet connectivity issue. Are others on the same network
having this issue? Is your network cable plugged in? We need more
information.
I think it may be a problem similar to what I've been having. Firefox and
everything else worked just peachy but IE was having a fit, tried a bunch of
different things found in the discussion but to no avail. Then I had a
thought and found out that this stupid norton firewall thing had, with out me
changing it or anything happening, decided to block internet explorer with
out notification, and so finally got fed up with all the trouble it's caused
and blew it away. Now IE works fine, as fine as IE can work. Perhaps if
you're connected to the internet and other applications can connect then IE
alone is being blocked by a firewall.
