Unable to sort by name

When I right click a folder, then click sort by name, nothing happens. This
problem is in both the start menu and favorites.

Create a new user profile and try the same from here. If this works,
see "How to Copy User Data to a New User Profile"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811151) for about how to replace
your current profile with the new one.
