Unable to send mail

I am unable to send mail due to a corrupted outbox folder (Vista). The
problem is one message which doesn't have a corresponding file. When I
browse the outbox folder with Explorer, there are only 3 files when there are
4 messages shown in the Outbox Mail folder. I have tried to compact the
files but that didn't work. Any suggestions on how to "clean" up the outbox
folder?
 
Found the solution! Installed the KB941090 update from Microsoft and can now
delete the bad email message. If anyone else has a similar problem, try this
download.
