Unable to send mail using Windows Mail

I can send messages using Earthlink webmail but receive this error msg when I
attempt to send using Windows Mail


An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'xxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxx xx xxxx
xxxxxx.....', Account: 'hakxxxx', Server: 'smtpauth.earthlink.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 Your message does not conform to RFC2822
standard', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number:
0x800CCC69

I believe that you have to change your Account setting to indicated that
Authorization is required for Earthlink.

Was that message addressed to BCC recipients only?
If so, you need to put your own email address in the To line.

I had a dickens of a time researching that issue because there wasn't
much information available for that particular error message.
