I downloaded Connector to be able to use Outlook 2003 with Windows Live
Hotmail. I am able to receive email into Outlook but I am unable to send.
When I click the Send/Receive button, even if I am not sending an email, I
get error message 0x80040900 "The server name you entered cannot be found on
the network. Please verify that you are online and that the server name is
correct."
When I downloaded Connector it created a new email account with my email
address as the name and MAPI as the type. It also retained my original POP3
account.
If anyone can help me resolve this problem I'd certainly be grateful.
