Unable to send Email attachments.

What can I do to correct this problem of not being able
to send emails with attachments; recieve server time out
error. Can send emails without attachments???

What is your timeout on the advanced tab of your account properties?
Increase it to the maximum and see if that helps.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Try increasing your server timeout value. It's on one of your account
properties pages.
