I am frustrated by a bug which seems to have been introduced in IE5.5
and which continues in IE6.0, for which I cannot find any answer to via
the Internet :
Basically, if in the IE security settings, you select the Scripting/Active
Scripting
option to "Prompt", you find that after viewing one or two web pages with
scripting (you get a "Scripts are usually safe. Do you want to allow scripts
to
run?" message box), you are no longer able to click on a text dialogue box.
For example :
- Go to http://au.yahoo.com/
- Click on "Yes" or "No" for the "allow scripting?" prompt
- Enter any search query in the appropriate text-input/dialogue box
- After the first page of search results is displayed, try to click the
search query box
- You can't :-(
