Unable to see files on zip disk

I copied some frontpage files from my computer using XP
and NTFS file system to my zip disk which I view before I
left for class. When I arrived in class and put my zip
disk in the drive I was not able to see the files (they
use XP and NTFS file system also). Now I'm home and put
my zip back in the drive and those files are now visible
to me as though I never left home. I can't solve the
problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The use of NTFS is irrelevant here. NTFS is the file system software in
use for the hard disks and nothing to do with your Zip drive.

Could there be issues with permissions ... at the "class" machine is
configured to give you "permissions" to see and access the files on the
zip drive?
