Usually this happens when your Network Connections folder is emtpy, try
fixing that first...
First make sure that your Network Connections Service and Remote Access
Connection Manager services are running. If they are then compare the LAN
connections in the connections folder with the Network Adapter drivers in
device manager. If there is a Network Adapter driver that doesn't have a
corresponding connection in the connections folder then try reinstalling it.
If the services are running and you still have no icons in the connections
folder, run each of these commands at a command prompt
regsvr32 netshell.dll
regsvr32 netcfgx.dll
regsvr32 netman.dll
And then reboot.

I used to have a small network setup on my computer, but got rid of the
old one and got a newer one. (only two on network). I cannot run the setup
home network wizard. I dbl. click it and nothing happens. I've tried
loading it from my XP CD but didn't work.
