unable to run microsoft office power point viewer

I downloaded the free:"Microsoft Office Power Point Viewer. If I download
Power Point Slide Show Pictures from the Internet, my program works very
well, but if somebody e-mail me some Power Point Slide Show pictures, I can
not run the program. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

The download is just the first part. You need to install it after. Click on
the downloaded file and follow the instructions to install it.
