I have XP Home Edition with SP 2 and full updates. AMD 2400 processor
and 3/4 GB of memory.
I restored the system to an earlier point but want to reverse this.
The operation appears to proceed smoothly until the very final stage
when my pre-restore desktop should appear.
Then I get a message that the system restoration could not be reversed
because of insufficient disk space. I should allegedly free up at
least 200 MB.
I made a second attempt after first shutting down manually, but the
result was the same.
In fact my main partition is 54 GB of which 28GB are free.
What is wrong and how can I resolve it? Any ideas most welcome.
TIA
