Unable to remove activeX control

I would like to remove a plugin from the IE browser by
going to Tools->Internet Options->Settings->View
Objects... However I couldn't find any files located from
that folder (c:\windows\downloaded program files\)... any
suggestion of why?

I am using windows XP with IE 6.0....

Thanks....
 
You need to remove the plug-in from the Add/Remove Programs in Control
Panel.
 
The plug-in isn't available under Add/Remove programs...
any other idea?

Do you know why I couldn't see the control under
Downloaded Program Files folder?
