Getting rid of Activex notification dialog box

Hugh

I've disabled all Activex controls and plugins on my IE
6.0. But now, on many web pages, I get the following
message pop up. "Your current security settings prohibit
running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the
page may not display correctly." Aside from enabling the
controls and plugins, is there any way to get this message
to stop appearing?

I was even getting this message off line in Helps....

Try to do a web search on this subject. There are some DLL compatibility
problems there. or look at:
http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/activex.htm

You can also try what solved it for me :

in the direct execution windows ('execute') type :

regsvr32 /u hhctrl.ocx
then
regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx

That's it.
