nasty MESSAGE: "...do not allow Web sites to use ActiveX..."

an

I have IE 5.5
and
ActiveX almost fully disabled

Very often when surfing the web
this message appears
"Your security settings do not allow Web sites to use ActiveX controls
installed on your computer. This page may not display correctly. "

I perfectly know what does it mean,
but
I DON'T WANT SEE IT ANY MORE ! ! ! !

Every time I refresh the page it appears,
every time the same message,
about 30-40 times in one hour Internet session.

How get it rid off my life ?

Sorry, but it is against my religion to offer assistance to suicide! ;)

Okay. I know that you mean, "How do you get rid of this pop-up". As far as I
know, you can't. Part of the reason I gave up on using MS Internet Explorer
for anything except Windows Udpate, which requires it. I am even giving up
on Yahoo! Photos because of hoops apparently _requiring_ ActiveX.

Try this may help:

1= Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on Advanced Tab and under Browsing Option Check these boxes:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)
[ ] Disable Script Debugging (Other)

[ ] Show Friendly URLs <- UnCheck this box

2- Click on Secuirty Tab highlight the IE glob:
Click on Custom Level Button then there check these:
[&] Download signed ActiveX controls
(*) Disable
( ) Enable
( ) Prompt

[&] Download unsigned ActiveX controls
(*) Disable
( ) Enable
( ) Prompt
[&] Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
(*) Disable
( ) Enable
( ) Prompt
Perform one step (1,2) at a time and see if the Pop-up will disappear.
Hope this help.

Thanks

Does anybody know which .dll or .exe file
fires that message.

I used a tool to scan several files
to find that text inside of them,
but found nothing.
