Unable to reload XP Home

I had to reformat my HD and have been trying to re-
install XP home. Everytime I try to install while I get
several file copy errors and after the system reboots I
receive the following message (stop: c000021a {fatal
system error} The session manager initialization system
process terminated.


Any thoughts would be appreciated.
